Opal is a passkey wallet for people and their agents.
It gives users one simple wallet, live balances, QR deposit, dollar-first payments, faster payments inside approved limits, and scoped permissions for agents or apps. A smart engine layer remembers useful recipient and policy context so future approvals can become clearer and safer.
What you can do now
- Create a Opal wallet with Google sign-in and a passkey.
- Receive funds through a QR deposit address.
- Send from held balances with user-paid gas.
- Enable faster payments for a trusted browser.
- Give an agent or app a limited spending permission.
- Send focused approval links to the wallet owner when an agent needs approval.
- Review sends, receives, permission changes, and agent requests in Activity.
Core idea
Opal should feel like a money app, not a chain dashboard.
Users approve clear limits. Agents and apps operate only inside those limits. When something needs more access, Opal asks the user in plain language. Recipient memory helps Opal explain repeated agent requests without giving the agent broader access.
Current chain scope
Opal is launching with Tempo and Solana, sequenced as Tempo first and Solana next. The active wallet and agent permission loop starts on Tempo. Solana market data appears in Explore today, and Solana wallet work comes after the Tempo finishing pass.
